Standard deliveries are routed and scheduled by the BOXLEY delivery team, who combine your delivery with others heading the same direction. This shared, flexible scheduling is what keeps your cost as low as possible — your items move along an efficient route rather than a dedicated trip.
Need it to go direct? A straight-through shipment or full truckload — picked up and driven directly to the destination on your timeline, with no other stops — is available at a higher rate. Just choose the direct option when you request bids.

BOXLEY charges a service fee on accepted move bids. This fee helps cover secure payment processing, provider verification, platform support, booking tools, and move coordination.

You pay once, up front. BOXLEY holds the payment and releases it to your provider only after the delivery is proven complete — so you never pay twice.
Your accepted bid is paid securely up front and held by BOXLEY.
The provider picks up your items and submits a proof of pickup — photos and a timestamp.
At drop-off, the provider captures a signed proof of delivery (POD).
Once the signed POD is in, BOXLEY pays the provider their bid amount.
BOXLEY does not buy, sell, or re-broker your delivery. This payment flow is simply a convenience — we hold your single payment and pass it to the provider after pickup and a signed POD confirm the job is done. The provider keeps their full bid amount; you don't pay anyone twice or chase down a separate invoice.
