Kevin Edmundson

Kevin Edmundson is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Boxley Technologies, Inc., the company behind Boxley Dispatch. His career in freight spans three decades — and it started, fittingly, behind the wheel and behind the dispatch desk of a box-truck operation, not a fleet of semis.

In 1995, Kevin got his start with North County Delivery, a California box-truck company that ran a demanding regional triangle — from Southern California up to San Francisco, out to Las Vegas, and across to Arizona — hauling marble, glass, and other high-value, fragile freight that left no margin for error. Moving expensive cargo on tight timelines taught him early what the rest of the industry tends to overlook: that the so-called "small" end of trucking runs on precision, trust, and relentless coordination.

Over the years that followed, Kevin worked across multiple trucking companies as a dispatcher and fleet manager, learning the trade from every angle — load planning, driver management, billing and settlements, compliance, and the daily problem-solving that keeps freight moving when things go sideways. It gave him a ground-level view of exactly where independent operators were being underserved.

In 2023, with the pandemic having exposed just how fragile critical supply chains can be, Kevin founded AEON Medical Transport, hauling medical supplies to hospitals when dependable, responsive logistics mattered most. AEON proved a thesis he'd been forming for years — and it became the proving ground for what came next.

That next step is Boxley. Kevin believes box trucks, sprinter vans, and cargo vans deserve a platform built for them — not a hand-me-down from systems designed for CDL fleets and semis. So he built Boxley Dispatch, the operating system for NON-CDL freight, to give these operators the same caliber of load access, dispatching, tracking, and settlement tools the largest carriers take for granted. Today Kevin sets Boxley's vision, strategy, partnerships, and culture — and AEON Medical Transport runs its entire operation on the platform, proof that it works in the real world.
